The benefit of the discovery that film can be processed and scanned to .jpeg files AT WALGREENS (!?) is that I can enjoy film and feel motivated to take pictures (I love my camera!). The minor downside is that you have to load the disc and deal with drugstore soda fountain-era technology to load them onto the computer. Ergo, I only have what is on one disc so far and so here's a fountain of a different sort...
Progress and other news:
- I finished a baby shower present for a friend and it was well received.
- I started a new lap quilt for my grandma who has just moved to a higher level of care and might like a warm lap since her little dog isn't going with her...
- did you know there is this thing called "the facebook"? It's a brave new world, I tell you what! Actually "the facebook" just froze up on me because I was being a little bit mean...is it my fault that people post pictures that reveal deep psychological secrets about them? Not my fault! My profile picture is of me shooting a gun, so I'm well aware of the risks, people!
- I'm really ready for the mini-heat wave and the latest round of gang-related killings to be over in my neighborhood. Good thing I'm a homebody!
One of these days I'm going to put on my bullet-proof vest and head over to Walgreens to get these photos of my latest projects developed...(I'm sort-of kidding, don't worry too much friends and loved ones!)
